No one wants that, I don’t want that because I will lost a portion of my readers due to the inconvenience as well as redo some necessary things to make the blog up and running. However, the truth is the truth. We still need to face with reality and better prepare to move the blog to a new place. I want to share some experiences that I have learned while I move my blog to a new domain
Prepare
First of all, you will need:
- Register a new domain. Head over to your favorite domain registration service and register a new domain that can looks like the old one or register a whole new brand. I have moved to new domain. Why?

Last night I received a email from Mage-World.com saying that I shouldn’t have named my domain that had the word “Magento” in it because it violated with the Trademark/License agreement with Varien. That guy also gave me a link to this License/FAQ and I read it very carefully all night yesterday to make sure that I did not do anything wrong that would cause Magento to sue me. And here’s the part that I made my decision right away that I need to change the domain name to http://magplazza.com
